I stayed in Bath only 1 day/1night this past March. Although I could have enjoyed Bath for one more day, my schedule was too tight to do so. I must say the highlight of Bath was the Henry House. I drove there pretty late and got lost with all the one way streets. The 1st time I called, I spoke with the male owner who was pretty short with me basically letting my know I was a fool for getting lost. Finally after asking 2 people in town (Do not do this. They do not own cars like everyone in America so getting directions can sometimes be trying.) I called the hotel and got the female owner. She was great! She even walked over to where I was (a couple of streets over) and got in the car with me to ride with me back to the hotel. She helped with my bags and promptly installed me into one of the top floor rooms that are some of the coziest I have ever been in. The room did not have a toilet but there was a large bathroom on the floor with a toilet and a shower plus another little room with only a toilet is someone is using the shower.) The floor was very quiet. I only heard my neighbors when they would come out of their rooms to use the restroom.
The next day, the female owner offered me information on the free walking tour of Bath while they made a splendid English breakfast for me. Finally, when it was time to leave, she offered to keep my bags for me since I did not want to store them in my car in case someone broke into it.
Very nice hotel and nice owners!
