“Good apartment with all home comforts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our first visit to Bath. This is a seperate ground floor apartment next door to the guesthouse. There is permit only parking in the streets around the area, but a permit was provided for the length of our stay. The apartment was large, clean and comfortable, the bed was especially comfortable and made a pleasant change from uncomfortable hotel beds. The kitchen contained everything you would need for a short or long stay. The owner was very helpful and accommodating.
The apartment was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the centre of Bath centre. Had a really lovely stay here and would reccommend to anyone visiting Bath.

It was a pleasure to stay in Radnor Guest House. Nice room, very good breakfast (including traditional English breakfast, which I love so much), very friendly hosts. The city center is only a short walk away, the University (where I attended a conference) can be reached by a short walk plus a short bus ride. I can truly recommend this guest house.

The Radnor Guest house is very centrally located for getting from the train station (7 min walk on level - but uneven- ground). It is less than 10 min (and only one crosswalk) to downtown Bath (neat the Abbey, Baths, etc). We stayed in Room 3 (up one flight) - has a double and twin - facing foot to foot, so you get a nice sense of privacy. Lovely window seat, nicely decorated. Lots of space for luggage storage, a closet and nice vanity for hair and make-up. Only drawback was the traffic noise, as it faces a main street. Beds are very comfy (at least the double was) and great pillows (down and a firmer one). Nice down comforter.

The bath is small, but a handy shelf above sink lets you store stuff. They provided travel size shampoo, conditioner, face cloth along with hand and bath sheet. Watch the toilet handle- apparently Americans have difficulty flushing it (I did, managed to get it going on day 3 when we left). Peter is very nice - carried up luggage (all B&B's seem to do this so far on our trip), made reservations at their fav pub (a 2 min walk - quite handy to stagger home), called a cab for us and filled up our water bottles each day. Lovely breakfast with pastry, cereal, yogurt, juice and fresh fruit to start. Then you get your cooked breakfast if you want!

Room Tip: As stated above, Room 3 had 2 beds (double, twin), lots of room, closet, vanity, window seat. The ba...

Stayed in this guest house for 3 nights over the weekend.
The location is great, everything in bath is within walking distance. Used and my mother and grandma stayed in a room with a double and a single bed. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. There was a tray of tea there for us each day. Breakfast is between 8-9, with a large selection of continental and a cooked hot breakfast- to your liking. The hosts are very kind and helpful, and will accommodate you if you need something different...one morning we left before breakfast started, so we notified them the day before, and they prepared breakfast for our early departure. Is it a cozy B&B, lots of information for attractions. I would stay there again!    No complaints.

This is exactly what a B & B should be like. Friendly, homely, comfortable and very clean.
Excellent choice for breakfast, traditional cooked was ordered the night before, which saves on wastage, ( none of us like throwing food away when there are starving people in the world ), Delicious !!!! Free parking permit issued when we arrived, we had no diffilculty in finding a space 2 mins away. A flat 5 -10 min walk into Bath centre, we enjoyed the Bath Skyline Walk which the start of is only 5 mins to the back of the B & B. Thank you Peter !!

Room Tip: We had room 5 which was on the ground floor overlooking the pretty courtyard.

A small Guest House with the facilities of an hotel plus welcoming then friendly service trhoughout our three night stay. Car parking turned out not to be an issue and the owner gave us a free permit that enabled parking right across the road. Lovely breakfasts with great selection. Would go back and will thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Bath and explore the city and surrounding countryside and attractions. Owner was very helpful with advice on places to go etc.

Room Tip: Unless you already live on a main road try for one of the rooms further in.

I booked for 2 nights at Radnor guest house 2 rooms. As soon as the booking was done, I received a very nice email from Peter and Jane offering their help and anticipating our arrival. Nothing fancy and trendy at Radnor but a very good an reliable service. Peter was available on arrival to hand me in the resident parking permit and he very kindly let me keep it for a few hours in our check-out day. Our rooms and bathrooms decorated in traditional English style were very clean and comfortable, the tea/coffe tray being restocked generously every day. Plenty of choice for breakfast (fresh fruit salad every day and good quality orange juice!) and personalised cooked breakfast. If one wants to be picky, could do with the kitchen door being closed during breakfast time so not to hear pots and pans while enjoying delicious breakfast. A computer available for guests in the breakfast room, otherwise free wifi in the rooms.
Walking to Bath town center did not take more than 10mn along the river Avon Path.

Room Tip: The only thing to be aware of: the house is actually on a very busy road and some rooms have a windo...
