“Interesting food and entertaining staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

The food was unusual, imaginative and delicious. It was not cheap but it was reasonably priced. The ambience was great and the staff were charming and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Came here with friends on a Saturday night- amazed they could squeeze us in when I called up earlier in the day, and we had the best table in the house!

Service was lovely and the food was superb! Great wine and after starters, mains, coffee and several bottles of wine between four of us the bill came to a very reasonable £140.

Will definitely be back soon!

“New Favourite Restaurant ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

My husband and I went to Restaurant Eleven last night with four friends and had one of the best evenings. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We often eat out in Bath and we will be visiting again very soon.

“Food, drink, top-quality service and banter made a wonderful evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

6 of us went for dinner here last night, having booked a few weeks ago, and all agree that it was a wonderful evening throughout. The owner, Mo, is a gem - welcoming, funny, and can't do enough to go out of his way to make sure everyone's having a great time (including taking that all-important group photo for us!).

Food was great - even the bread board and olives shone if simply for its variety; there were breads here I've never even seen outside of a bakery which made a lovely change. We were all ordering different starters and mains, and credit to the chef for getting them all great and all out together. Some great dishes which are a little different and original, without being intimidating.

I asked when ordering my chicken (the brie sauce and fondant potato sides won that decision for me!) what sides it came with - we decided extra vegetables wouldn't be necessary. But then Mo brought them for me anyway, 'just in case', and didn't charge for it, which is another example of their excellent service.

There's a decent wine list, and as such we drank far too much of it! Which is, again, to the restaurant's credit...

It's not cheap - much of that's probably because of the amount of wine we drank - but not outrageous. At time of writing, it's about £7-£8 for the starters and £15-£20 for the mains.

Why only 4 out of 5? I can't honestly say it was perfect, for two reasons. Two of our desserts were a bit of a let-down - the croissant-bread-and-butter pudding sounded better than it was, just far too heavy and didn't distinguish itself with the croissant texture I was hoping for. The other reason is their website. The menus are out of date, which is a cardinal sin for me when choosing a restaurant, and in addition, the menu on their website is different to their mobile site, which is different to what's actually at the venue!
