“Perfect Stay At 4 Beaufort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at 4 Beaufort. Lynn was so accomodating and nothing was too much to ask. The room was stunning and all the little extras made it a very special stay. Best nights sleep we have had in ages, and it was perfectly located just a 15 minute scenic walk into Bath. Would highly recommend 4 Beaufort to anyone visiting Bath and we will definitely be coming back.

I stayed during Feb 2013. I was theer on a combined business and personal visit. The property is a beautiful old house, decorated to a very high standard. The owner was extremely well informed about the area and recommended an exhilirating walk in nearby Swainswick. This was a highlight of my stay. The house is very comfortable, the bedroom also well appointed, lots of choice of drinks, towels etc. Bath is a beautful place, and at the centre of many wonderful local attractions. I have stayed in the city previously, this was easily the best stay i had there. I would recommend it to anyone interseted in a luxurious, comfortable and well situated stay in this most beautiful part of England. Well done to the owners. I will be back!

My husband and I have just stayed for one night at this beautiful house in Bath.
The king-size room is truly lovely with a great view over the city and surrounding hills. It is very well equipped and Lynn has a very good eye for interior design so the style is smart but relaxed at the same time.
We slept very well due to the comfortable bed and the peaceful location; so nice to be able to walk into town in 20 minutes via one of several charming routes and yet be completely quiet at night. Also, no need to move your car once you arrive - a big plus when parking in town can be so tricky.
To sum up this is quality....as befits such a stylish city.

We stayed in the king size room for 2 nights in January 2013.
We were greeted with a very warm welcome after a long journey in the snow, with some fresh coffee and biscuits in the guest living room, which was very cosy.
The king size room was lovely and so well presented. The room felt homely but with boutique hotel touches. We really liked the little extras of complimentary breakfast and fresh fruit and little snacks in the room.It was also perfectly located, with lovely views over the city and was so nice to look out over whilst having breakfast. The guest living room was an added bonus.
The information provided in the room was excellent, especially the information material that you put together. Lynn's personal recommendations for places to visit and eat were all good, as well as routes for walking, all described well.
Lynn's hospitality was greatly appreciated, nothing was too much trouble for her and was the perfect mix of being attentive without overcrowding.
I would gladly recommend 4 Beaufort bed and breakfast, and hope to stay again in the future.

I stayed at 4 Beaufort in the single room and had the best night sleep in ages in a beautifully decorated quiet room. The service was wonderful & friendly but not intrusive. I arrived to be greeted with a lovely cup of tea, even though I could make one in my room and was ordered a taxi to get to a friend's party when I running late. I noticed several extras in the room, including snacks for a walk, which unfortunaley I did not have time for. However, I would come back to wonder arounding the beautiful surrounding countryside and would also recommend this place to friends. Breakfast was a treat, with good home cooked food and a great view to enjoy while eating. The owner has certainly thought of all those nice touches, and it was a pleasure to be there.

I stayed in the single room on a recent trip to Bath. Lynn gave me a very warm welcome and a very welcome pot of tea on my arrival. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with soft fluffy towels, beautiful bed linen, tea and coffee making facilities and television. It even had chocolate, biscuits and sweets!! In a drawer I found a selection of DVDs and there was also a hair dryer provided. The bathroom, again beautifully decorated, was situated next door to the room with w.c bath, shower and sink. The breakfast next day was served downstairs and the breakfast table was in prime position to look out over the garden and the hills in the distance. Lynn provided an excellent choice for breakfast ranging from fresh fruits and yoghurt to a full cooked breakfast. The house is wonderful and Lynn's hospitality is excellent. She provides lots of welcoming personal touches, which make a stay here thoroughly enjoyable. I can't recommend 4 Beaufort highly enough. Thank you Lynn!
