“Great food, shame about the slow service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

The filet mignon with dauphinoise potatoes was gorgeous and perfectly cooked, the Tuesday and Thursday night jazz music was a treat, and the service was friendly--but very slow. It was a full house, but there seemed to be only one waiter and the manager on hand (who wasn't always waiting tables as the place grew busy), so it took a long time for each course to be served, and getting the bill took far too long.

“Good simple food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We always come to No5 for lunch when we visit Bath. It's just off Pultney Bridge and centrally located. It's independent with lots of specials, it's good basic French food. Will be back

“Back on form”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We had been visiting Number 5 for twenty years and were really upset when it closed last year. I'm pleased to say that it's back and improved. A very simple and tasty lunch, with lovely service. Incredibly reasonably priced too. We will definitely return.

“Very good snack”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

After walking a fair distance around Bath decided to pop in here for a snack - we both enjoyed our two savory crepes with a glass of wine. Service good and décor pleasant. Would certainly return when next in Bath.

“5 out of 5”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Food and service very decent, and them menu has plenty to choose from. Book ahead to be sure of a table, as the venue's pretty small and was totally full.
Would definitely recommend it for any occasion, and would love to go back.
