“Worth a walk in the rain!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012 via mobile

Whilst in Bath my husband and I spotted an ad for this tea room. Loving all things vintage it was a must for our trip. We weren't disappointed - lovely high tea in cosy surroundings, and wonderful staff.

“delightful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

My elderly mother and I visited here for tea and cakes and had a delightful experience. Loved the decor and ambience, fantastic tea and fresh scones, will be returning for sure!

The owner was very friendly to us, the food and scones was fabulous, BEST HIGH TEA I've tasted so far. The room is also beautiful with calm atmosphere, recomend to anyone who love afternoon tea

“Lovely vintage place. Very bad service.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012 via mobile

My friend and I were very excited to visit the tearoom as it looked amazing. The tea was served in vintage tea pots and cups and the decoration and music really set the scene of a vintage tea room.

The service was appalling however, we asked for scones and the waitress brought us 4 instead of 2. I apologised for the misunderstanding, but we only wanted a scone each as we had said to her. One waitress told me to see someone else because it wasn't her table. The other waitress was incredibly rude to me and was annoyed about the whole thing.

It is a shame because the tea room is beautiful but the service is awful.

“Keep Calm and Carrying on Eating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Another good reason not to go to one of the chains to eat. 1940's style but without the rationing. Fabulous cakes, scones and toasted sandwiches. And best of all, loose leaf tea with a strainer!

Well worth finding out where it is.
