Visited this place over the weekend with relatives from NZ while travelling around the Somerset/Devon area. This collectively was pretty much was the worst cafe we could all recall visiting in recent memory (we did have coffee at the Roscoff Cafe in Bath as well yesterday which was very good). We had to send the soup back 3 times because it was stone cold (blamed on a faulty microwave). The toasted Turkey baguette was so cold in the middle that the cheese had not even slightly melted. The two pasties that were presented were bland and uninspiring. The worst part of all though were that the accompanying coleslaw and potato salad being fizzy!!!! There was zero ambience as there was no background music so we could hear the kitchen staff talking about the issues and other order problems and no goodwill gesture was offered to offset our issues. (the group had been to another restaurant in the past week where the patron took it upon himself to not charge for a tough lamb shank). While this cafe is well situated and the service polite the food offered was so far below par that it should be rated 312 out of 312 restaurants in Bath!!!!!
