14-16/09/07 My husband and I had a fantastic wedding weekend in Bath. We decided to get married in Bath as it's such a beautiful, elegant city with it's Roman and Georgian influences. We decided that the Parade Park Hotel was a fantastic hotel for ourselves and our guests to stay in. It's a spectacular, old, Georgian building built of Bath stone. It's right in the center of Bath overlooking the magnificent Parade Gardens. The Manager of the hotel was amazing as she stepped in and saved the day for us as our original wedding reception plans fell through. We can never thank her enough for this. She let us use the long breakfast room at a minimal price. The room was like a palace with the beautifully laid tables and the fantastic flower displays, this made our Wedding Day so very very special. Our guests and ourselves really loved the hotel. The inside of the hotel is tastefully decorated and the bedrooms are spacious, bright and airy. There are some great views from the bedrooms. Our bedroom had a four poster bed, it was really pretty. It was just £180.00 for both of us for two nights B&B. Probably the cheapest hotel in the city. There is a lovely lounge bar with a good selection of wines and ales and very reasonably priced delicious lunches. We had really tasty breakfasts too. There is a seating area outside the front of the hotel where we sat and chatted soaking up the spirit and culture of Bath. We also enjoyed socialising in a charming, cosy, private sitting room. The ambiance in the hotel is warm, comfortable and inviting. The staff were fantastic, they were warm, friendly and very helpful. Our friends and ourselves had a very enjoyable stay and we will certainly be back again.
