“Vibrant and varied”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Bath is a UNESCO world heritage site due to its rich history and beautiful architecture. This street is in the heart of the city centre and contains a variety of shops and historical attractions. It can get very busy in the summer months but is still well worth a visit.

“Back in time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

Bath being a National Heritage Site, much of the streets and buildings were preserved to showcase the original time period it was built. To navigate in Bath, you certainly have to use this cobbled street. Admittedly, the tourist draw in Bath is the Roman Bath Museum but still, a short stroll is recommended in the street to gain the full Bath experience.

“Bath, UK Enchantment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

The architecture, the parks, the gardens, the buildings the open air tourist buses all add to the wonderment of the street attractions in Bath, UK. It was a step into history, into a yester year of time. I was enticed to consume all that was offered -- restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, shops, the open air tour bus. I was enchanted by the street musicians around. I recommend that you allow at least two or three days to see all the parks, gardens, shops, cafes, restaurants and theatres. I want to return really soon, and will stay in Bath several days to totally absorb the City.

“A Street Which is Upbeat!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

This street is full of character and very openly wonderful. Very quaint in nature and has architecture to die for. Well preserved in all aspects , with lots of friendly and colourful people. I felt very at home here and would return in a heartbeat. Bath is the sort of place that accepts all people and cherishes their own people, history and culture too.

“Beautiful architecture, okay touristy shopping”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Given that the average traveler is in Bath to see the Roman baths, you don't have much choice but to go through Bath street of course. All the same - this street is amazingly beautiful with very much an old heritage. There are nearby pay and display parks if you are travelling by car and I would recommend spending maybe an hour around this area. There are lots of touristy shops and souvenirs but I don't normally buy into that sort of things. For me it was a nice stroll and closeby the Roman Baths. I would recommend seeing!
