We spontaniously decided to drive to bath on our UK vacation. We luckily got the the last room in the house at the number 30!

Parking in bath is nearly non-existant and the number 30 has private parking and is an easy 5 minute walk to the heart of the city. It was
so easy to get around we never even used our car.

the accomidations were very nice. tv, cd player, bath soaps. We had a room with a private bath but it was across the hall. It was the last room in the house so we could not complain! It had the funniest but very nice SMALL bathtub. It was ample for soaking but not room for streching. I was really impressed they got a bath in there! I am not sure how to explain it but it is worth seeing. It had a seat inside of it and was great for shaving legs ;) It is BATH after all so everyone must have a bath.

The host was nice and very very proper. Though accomidating I am used
to more touchy feeling inn owners. Nonetheless, nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was LAVISH! I choice of menu items with many veggie items. I reccomend the veggie sausage!

Would stay here again, though I would prefer a room with a bath in the room.

The price on here seems incorrect at the price is currently nearly twice this. The US dollar is so weak in the UK!

Yes, the rooms at Number 30 are large, modern, and comfortable. Yes, the inn is maintained in tip-top condition and is centrally located close to all of Bath's tourist attractions. But it is owners David and Caroline Greenwood that make Number 30 THE place to stay in Bath. As a first-time visitor to the UK, I especially appreciated the personal attention David and Caroline provided – lots of to-the-point advice about getting around in Bath and which sights would appeal to my own interests. Caroline's recommendation of a local Indian restaurant led to the best dining experience of my trip. After spending four weeks at B&Bs all over England and Scotland, Number 30 is at the top of my favorites list. And, oh, it doesn't hurt that David prepares absolutely the best traditional English breakfasts that I tasted anywhere on my travels.

Room was very clean. Lovely, helpful staff. Parked there for free all day. Lovely breakfast. Excellent restaraunts recommended by staff. 5 min walk to centre on level. Top front room little noisy due to traffic and bath only - not shower, (- so suggest you ask for the room of your choice on booking) but this did not affect my stay. Much much better than staying in a hotel!

Last year my work mate and i travelled to Bath to attend another mates wedding, he and his lovely wife are now Aussies and enjoying the lifestyle of the yarra valley near Melbourne Vic
Bath is a beautiful and historic town and David and Caroline made two blokes travelling from the other side of the world very comfortable. I drew the short straw and had a room without a shower but i found that quaint as most places we stayed in did not have showers.
No 30 is in a great position and not far to walk into town ,Caroline helped me with getting some washing done in town, over all i would rate no 30 as an excellent place to stay, it has taken me some time to place my reponse on trip advisor ( as i promised Caroline i would )

This was our first visit to Number Thirty and will certainly not be our last! The Greenwoods run an excellent house, with the help charming staff, and all their professionalism shines throughout.

Our room was light, airy and beautifully appointed and the dining room was bright, elegantly decorated and comfortably furnished. Recent new carpet through the whole house was a bonus.

Breakfast was to kill for! Fresh fruit complemented the extensive ranges of cereals and hot food - all top quality. These were rounded off with copious quantities of coffee and any other hot drink you could imagine. And nothing was too much trouble!

Number Thirty is a "must" for any discerning B&Ber needing accommodation in Bath.
