Visited La Perla on a Saturday evening just after 6:30pm - we needed somewhere for a quick bite to eat before going to the Bath Beer festival! We were very impressed with the decor and ambience of the place - and the staff were really welcoming when we arrived.
Between four of us we had a couple of tapas dishes each plus a bottle of tempranillo. This was plenty!!!!
It was all delicious, and the bread was really, really good - very fresh and different varieties - olive, sundried tomato etc. The ham croquettes were yummy, the calamari was cooked really well, meatballs - very large, very tasty! - enough for 4 people. The mini-burgers were also very good!!!! There was loads of choice on the tapas menu - if we'd had enough room (and more time!) we would've sampled some more!
Wine and tap water was kept topped up by the staff - attentive without feeling like they were intruding. The tables are also large enough for all the tapas dishes - seems daft, but so often I've been to places where you run out of space for everything!!
Look forward to returning here soon!
