“A really good night out would return”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2012

Came here for a friends birthday. Limited food menu but what I had was very nice and plenty of it. Very friendly staff. Good show when we visited. If you still have stamina you can stay on for the dancing after the comedy show. I thought it was a really good night out, good value and nice to do something different all in the same venue.

“Komedia, Comedy, Food, Fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012

After seeing the dodgy review below, I have to say, me and my friends had an amazing time at Komedia!

The comedians were great, the waiting staff were very friendly with good food and a good choice of cider!

I went for my 28th birthday, we booked a whole table and had a great night. Plenty of laughs - I have been before, and will go again.

Some people just have different tastes in comedy, you might find a man banging his head on a microphone swearing about his ex wife hilarious at the time - or you might not. Sounds like one very odd comedian got a couple of bad reviews here.

give it a go!

“awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2011

We went here for our Christmas works meal, the food was poor!!! tiny portions and as for the headline act ..he was horrendous..it was uncomfortable to say the least he was very aggressive, he shouted and he was not funny as around 400 people sat on in amazement as he appeared to have a total head fit on stage...it was one of the worse nights out i have ever had Komedia should review the acts before taking £40 per head from people.

“Waste of money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2011 via mobile

Tiny portions of food (3 course "meal deal") meant we were still hungry.

Told to get there by 6 to make sure we could sit together but there was no need as the tables were reserved so we spent an hour and a half waiting for the acts after eating. This would have been fine if the pre-show music hadn't been so loud. This made conversation with anyone at the other end of the table almost impossible.

Two female toilets. One had no lock. Toilet roll on floor. Hand dryer used cold air & it kept cutting out so it took ages to dry my hands.

Compere and first act were quite funny but the headline act was terrible. Loud, rude, abusive & may have had an on-stage mental breakdown. I gave up listening to one of his songs so I'm not sure if it was part of the act when he stopped singing, headbutted the microphone several times and screamed "the f&£;:: b£((( left me"! I could go on but it's too depressing. Didn't bother staying for the club. Early train home slightly stunned. AVOID
