“Good B & B, Enjoyed the stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Stayed for one night only in Ashley Villa.
We were made welcome on arrival. Following a quick check-in, information on attractions in Bath and suggested ways of getting to the Centre, Elias took us to our room which, as we had expected was clean and offered all the usual comforts.
The distance from Bath Centre was as described a steady stroll, we opted to go through Victoria Park to take at look at the famous Royal Crescent..
Following our day in Bath we had a very comfortable nights sleep.
Elias was very attentive and at breakfast ensured all our needs were met.

We stayed at the Ashley Villa the first two days of our 2 week trip to England. Of all the English Breakfasts, they had the best -- awesome bacon and mushrooms! Room accommodations were fine. We were only 5 minutes from downtown and it was easy to take a taxi. It was a great place to launch us into our trip!

We had a twin room upon our arrival from Heathrow and train to Bath. Since our flight was delayed, we arrived very late but Elias was so warm and welcoming. The room was wonderful. Very modern even tho it is an older building. It was the best breakfast that we had during our 2 week stay in Wiltshire. The staff was so kind and helpful. The location was great and we could park our rental car off the street with free parking. Easy drive or cab into the city centre. I highly recommend this b&b. Quite lovely. And Elias and his wife are the best!!!!!!!

My family and I stayed here for a week this year. Once in Bath, it was easy to find, in a popular local area, without being too noisy (on a main road). We were greeted by the owner, Ashley, who was very helpful by giving us directions to various attractions and tips for walking routes. The room was well sized, with a very bijoux bathroom and entrance into the garden/pool area. We were in a room at the back, presumably an extension and so depsite free wifi being advertised, it did not reach the room, unless standing right by the door, but this was rare. At breakfast the next morning, we were greeted by Elias, the in-house manager. He was very polite and breakfast was very enjoyable. It offered cereals, fruits and yoghurt, as well as a cooked breakfast and toast. However, on some mornings, we had to sit on two separate tables as the four-seater was occupied by a couple. We thought it was reasonable for Elias to have asked them to move and allow the table for a family, but obviously not, since it happened fairly often. The hotel is only a 20-30 minute walk from the town centre, with a pleasant walk through a park and past the Royal Crescent. This is greatly recommended as parking in the centre is very expensive for short amount of time. The centre of Bath is charming and great for shopping and dining. A bit of a maze, but I adjusted to it quickly. When the owner and his wife were back in on Thursday, we found the service at breakfast less favourable to Elias', but they were still very friendly. Overall, an enjoyable stay in a charming city, with lovely hotel staff.

My daughter and I spent three nights at Ashley Villa and were very pleased with the excellent staff especially Elias who was brilliant. My daughter felt unwell on our second day and Elias was very supportive in letting her rest up in the room all day. The hotel is lovely and clean, good bathroom with shower, we had a twin room at the front which had plenty of space. The breakfast which was included had a excellent choice of fruit, yoghurts, cereal and the cooked veggie breakfast was of high standard. I would throughly recommend this hotel to my family and friends, it was a little bit more then 2 mins from the centre of Bath but it is walkable through Victoria Park (15 - 20 mins). The outside area is very attractive with a small heated pool and a pretty garden. All in all lovely the only negative issue was the constant noise from traffic from the main room even with the window closed (busy Bath to Bristol road) sorry!

Room Tip: Probably ones nearer the back of the house because of the noise from the road

Perfect place in Bath!
Staff incredibly nice upon arrival, we did not have a booking and the gentleman was very helpful and welcoming.
We manage to get 2 lovely rooms as we were three. The rooms are very clean & sweet (shower pressure was perfect).
We had a drink in the lounge which is cosy and comfy.
Breakfast was delicious !
The place to be in Bath & have a bath!

Good ,clean accommodation, well located .On arrival was shown to the room by Elias the manager who couldn't do enough for you ,he spent a good 10 minutes explaining the local area to us.
The breakfast was lovely, freshly made . The garden area is well kept and a very pleasant place to sit on a summers evening, the bar was very reasonably priced .All in all a great experience ,will definitely use when we visit Bath again.
