It was nice to walk around the Royal Crescent and Circus and admire the architecture in the sunshine... Beautiful architecture.

“Just a row of houses”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

Disappointed with this, it was just a row of houses - with scaffolding! We happened upon it whilst out wandering - and only noticed because a bus load of French students were taking photos! Glad we didnt get a taxi there as some people were doing!

“No.1 Royal Crescent - Bath”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

This museum has been recently reopened after some considerable renovation and improvement. The experience was well worth the entrance fee. The house reproduces the standard of living of a wealthy bachelor in the 18th Century. Most rooms has an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide and also an information sheet.
There is a shop and an information room which offers a viewing of a video. The video is probably the poorest aspect of the experience.

“Nice but not breathtaking”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

This is a nice place to visit, the architecture is lovely. But when we visited so It was a bit cold and windy so did not hang about too long, spoiled a bit by scaffolding right in the middle and cars parked everywhere, but these are people houses not a museum so is to be expected.

“sterile”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

I must admit to being underwhelmed by the Royal crescent , Bath is full of lovely streets and buildings but it felt rather charmless here .Still its a nice walk into victoria park and near the circle which is much more interesting, so go see anyway .
