“A great place for all the family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2014

It was a long time since I had visited the Roman Baths with my small children who are now grown up. We recently spent a day in Bath with some friends and, of course, the first place to visit has to be the baths. There was a long queue outide but it moved quickly and we were soon being fitted out with personal guide recordings. The sight of the baths viewed from the raised terrace is amazing. It is easy to let your imagination run riot with the costumed characters lounging by the bath or working at one craft or another. The recorded guide is excellent and allows you to see around at your own pace. This visit is not to be missed if you find yourself in Bath and is a sight worth making a visit specially to see. I coyld go again and again. It is brilliant for families as well. My own children loved it years ago and I saw many families having a wonderful time there.

“A must to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2014

A must when visiting Bath. There is an audio guide included in your ticket but you don't have to take it, we were happy to walk around letting our minds wander and reading the plaques at each stop.

“Well Worth The Entrance Fee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2014

I last visited the Roman Baths 30 years ago and whilst the actual baths have not really changed the excellent museum now attached is crammed full of Roma artefacts and information. It's a must visit.

“worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2014

a must see in Bath. The audio guide has lots of great information but I would suggest listening selectively because if you try to listen to it all you will be there all day. The costumed guides are lots of fun and give great information. It is an interesting combination of Roman overlaid with Georgian.
