Four old but well-renovated townhouses have been joined together to create this marvelous hotel, and the rooms are marvelous - beautifully decorated, meticulously clean and quiet.
Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, from advice on things to do to the care and feeding of our rental car which they whisked away to another street where they had permits and returned it promptly none the worse for the experience for a modest fee indeed.
There is nowhere else we would think of staying if we return to Bath, it's really a quite special place.

Booked very last minute for a birthday trip. The location is perfect. A few minutes from all the main attractions yet a quiet street at night. The hotel were so accommodating. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and you soon feel it will be a special break. They are very welcoming and come out to greet you on the street and take your car for you. We were upgraded to a wonderful room (the junior suite) but from the decor of the hotel, I imagine all the rooms are lovely. I had forgotten my toothbrush and someone was up straight away with a new one for me. The breakfast was OK (if you have breakfast included you can choose continental buffet or hot food up to the value of £12). The continental buffet was quite sparse but sufficient if that is all you want. My boyfriend chose smoked haddock on both mornings and said it was great. You do not get tea and coffee facilities in the room however they are available to help yourselves downstairs. I do not think anyone would mind if you walked down in your dressing gown in the morning to get a drink to take back to bed. Sometimes the water was often cold but they swiftly replaced it upon request.
The hotel has a lovely bar and garden area which is a real sun trap during the day and evenings and is much larger than you think from the pictures.
I think you get a much better deal booking with the hotel direct and they can help meet any special requirements. And you get a little bag as a gift for booking direct!
Thank you so much to the staff at the Queensbury - you helped make a very special birthday trip. Luxury hotel and a reasonable price in a fantastic location.

Room tip: All rooms are different but the staff can advise and help you choose what suits you

Warm welcome, and as our room wasn't ready-they were more than happy to hold our luggage. Upon return, we were given a tour, and escorted to our amazing room. It was our anniversary, and they had given us a beautiful room-an upgrade. We were on the street, room 19, but while other reviews mention how noisy it was-it quieted down appropriately in time for bed. Lovely bathroom-heated towel rack, and a nice breakfast. We were only disappointed that their restaurant was closed for remodeling, which wasn't mentioned anywhere, until we arrived. Also-there is an elevator, which is quite nice due to the stairs in the hotel. We would stay again. We were also given a chocolate gift for our anniversary and a hand written note!

Very quaint hotel. We had a large, comfortable room with high ceilings overlooking the street. The lobby and public spaces are a bit warn, but the bedroom was clean and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the Olive Tree restaurant was closed for renovation, so we were not able to dine at the restaurant and the breakfast, served in the bar, was less than appetizing. The location is great and walking distance between town and architectural sites. We would recommend the hotel to friends.

Inexpensive but strangely unhelpful staff. The kitchen is currently out of action so there were no hot breakfast options and no evening meals at all, but the staff acted one morning as if they'd never set up a breakfast buffet before, and the coffee was cold. Lots of stairs so not good for those who are less able. There is no parking close to the hotel - they arrange, and charge for, "valet parking".
