“A welcome retreat after a busy day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

Had some time to kill before train home so popped in for drinks and snacks. Great selection of both and really lovely furnishings.

“Shame about the staff's attitude”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Nice food, good selection of drinks too. Shame that the staff were totally uninterested in everything apart from getting the pub closed at 11 on the dot. Won't be coming back in a hurry, Bath has so much more to offer.

“Pig board”

Manager (Dave) was irresponsive when questioned on how burnt the food was. Poor overall, although the waiter we had was amicable.

“great pub for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

We stopped in here for lunch during our day trip to bath. Gourmet-type food (i.e., better than your average pub food)- 2 course option with drink- for under 10 pounds. Order yourself at the bar, but the very friendly staff brings it out! Seems like a fun place to go for the evening too.

“Good food in a convenient place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

I came here a lot when I first came to Bath as the food is really good quality, tasty stuff. I was a bit disappointed recently though as the menu seems to have massively decreased in options, although it could be because I went on a weekend evening. It's a nice atmosphere for a drink at the weekend if you can handle the naff ambient music.
