“Fun new years eve!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

A friend and I travelled from Leicester to spend NYE in Bath (stayed at the Bath Spa hotel - definitely recommended). We went to OPA for some food, cocktails and the atmosphere was so good we ended up spending the entire night there! The staff (including doormen!) were so friendly - no attitude whatsoever! OPA attacts a slightly older crowd which was nice (we were worried about it becoming too rowdy/full of 18-19 year olds!) The DJ, fireworks and Zorba the Greek plate smashing just added to the party atmosphere! The drinks are priced really well... cocktails around £6 and spirit with a mixer £4! Can't wait to come back!

“Fantastic New Years Eve”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Thanks for looking after us so well New Year's Eve - the food and service was fantastic, the fireworks great and the help with dress alterations beyond the call of duty :-)

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Me and my partner visited here mid week and got really lucky with the weather so were able to sit outside by the river with cocktails before our meal. The cocktails were nice and the outside sitting area is magical! If you visit OPA you have to take a peep.

We visited in the early evening and took advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails (they both have to be the same) and the ‘early dinner offer’ - £9.99 for either 3 mezes or a main meal with a glass of house wine. We both had the OPA special which was served piping hot and packed full of meat in a delicious sauce. The house wine was nice but they also offer a great selection of wines if you want something a little more special.

OPA is beautifully decorated and is spotlessly clean; the staff are attentive, friendly and patient.

We have actually visited twice and on our second visit the staff remembered us.

The only downside (which OPA can do nothing about) is that it is below street level. I walk with a crutch and my partner had a little trouble helping me down, and then back up, the stairs - but if you have no problems with walking this won’t be a problem for you.

OPA is definitely worth a visit. If we visit Bath again we will definitely dine here again.

“My favourite place in Bath!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

We have had two great experiences in the last few months in Opa. I love the setting - beautiful location and nice decor. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is lovely; very filling and you probably don't want to go for more than 1 starter between 2 if you want to do justice to your main course. The place turns into a nightclub later in the evening and it looks like a classy and fun place to hang out!
