“Beautiful apartment and superb location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

Spacious and extremely well equipped, these apartments could not be in a better location. The centre of the city (and the Christmas markets if you go at the right time of year) are right on the doorstep. The kitchen had everything you could ask for - hob, oven, large fridge freezer and coffee machine, and the bathroom was luxurious with some gorgeous little toiletries to boot. All was spotlessly clean and our reservation/check in all went very smoothly indeed. If I could rate higher than 5/5 I would!

We stayed in apartment 8 which comprised a comfortable Queen size bedroom, huge sparking modern bathroom with quality bath products, spacious lounge with fold-out sofa bed for our teenage son, and an excellent kitchen with big fridge, full stove, microwave and most importantly of all - a Nespresso machine (along with many delicious coffee pods)! Also included in the kitchen was a welcome pack of fresh bread, jams and butter and milk in the fridge. There was ample salt, pepper, sugar, tea, detergents and all manner of paper products, foil etc. It was great to have the basics there and then pop over to Marks & Spencer food department (a few minutes walk away) for all our other culinary requirements.

TV had ample stations to choose from and the free wi-fi was appreciated. We did our washing but the drier wasn't co-operating and we didn't want to bother contacting anyone as it was during Xmas time. No problem - our washing dried ok on the heated towel rack in the bathroom.

The position of the apartment was superb - literally right in the heart of beautiful historic Bath yet wonderfully quiet. We parked our rental car in a nearby car park as the apartments are in a pedestrian precinct.

People should be aware that it is situated in the basement so there are stairs to contend with, and not much natural light - which wasn't a problem in dull December anyway as we expected to have lights on all day.

We found it value for money given the fantastic location, fresh modern interior design, and all the amenities. Highly recommend this outstanding apartment.

Room Tip: We loved apartment 8

Stayed in apartment 7 with family during busy Christmas market weekend - perfect location as it is in a quiet parade but near to everywhere important.
Very warm and comfortable , very high standard throughout.
We would definitely return.

I have just returned from a hen weekend in Bath and cannot recommend the apartments enough. From booking the apartments to picking up the keys the whole process was seamless, the ladies even took delivery of our sainsburys delivery and put it away for us. The apartments are extremely well equipped, for a girls weekend or just a weekend away these apartments are perfect and much better than staying in a hotel. The location is within walking distance of everything from the roman baths, thermae bath spa and excellent bars and restaurants, they're also extremely close to the railway station.

All in all the apartments were fantastic and I cannot fault them at all.

Myself, my two teenage daughters, and my mother, stayed at The Courtyard Apartments in August. Everything was perfect. I really cannot find fault in anything. My mother is extremely fussy, and she was so happy with the Apartment. The location is perfect for seeing all the sights in Bath. It was clean and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable, and had a fantastic time in Bath. Our stay was just not long enough, but I hope to return someday.

Went with a group of friends and stayed in 7 and 9. Fantastic quality apartments and the little touches (bread, milk, biscuits, Nespresso Machine and capsules!) were very much appreciated. Staff were happy to post a dress that was left behind and communication throughout booking etc was very good. I cannot find one fault with these apartments. It was clean, tidy and very well equipped. Highly recommend staying.

What can I say? Four of us stayed in Apartement 9 and it is topping my list as the best place I've ever stayed in. It's literally a 10 second walk to the Roman Baths and the Abbey yet it's set back in a quiet ally so you don't get the noise of the street or people walking past. Its right near the oldest house in Bath (and a nice place for a cup of tea and a cake). You can hear the bells of the Abbey sound each hour but inside it's subdued enough that you sleep through it easily and in the bedroom have to strain to hear it.
The apartment has been renovated into a beautiful space with little extras included to make you feel comfortable like a Nespresso coffee maker and fluffy bath robes. The beds are really comfortable as are the pillows. We had the beds configured into kings but you can have four large singles as well.
If you have a car there is no parking on-site, but there is free and paid parking not too far away.
This is a perfect spot in a very beautiful city, whether you're there for shopping, sightseeing or relaxing this is a beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: There was no swimming pool or fitness centre
