Description: Serving temptingly fresh and flavoursome creations from world-famous chef Jamie Oliver, Jamie's Italian evokes the vibrancy and passion embedded in traditional Italian cooking and culture. A homely neighbourhood vibe is inspired by the rustic and relaxed ambience of the 'Italian table', with delicious flavours from the menu including truffled turkey Milanese, or a colourful seaside risotto.

“Excellent food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

Went here on a bank holiday Monday so we were expecting it to be busy. The lady saw that we were standing there but didn't come over to us for us to be seated. We waited 5 minutes before a gentleman seated us. She was extremely unhelpful and even if she wasn't seating people, she could have easily said that someone would be over in a minute. Thankfully she wasn't our waitress when we were seated. Our waitress was excellent. I believe her name was Sarah. She was attentive and friendly. We had the crab and avocado for starters and a steak and carbonara for main. The food was delicious. Couldn't fault the food at all. It was reasonably priced. The mojito was tasty as well!

“Not living up to the hype”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

Was so looking forward to this romantic evening but was let down. Service was slow and laboured and food portions on small side for what we paid. £4 for a bottle of water seemed excessive to me but I don't eat out much so that may be the norm. We then asked for bill which she brought over and then proceeded to serve a hen party knowing full well we were ready to pay and go. 20 minutes later she brought over the machine and before we even got out of our chairs she had gone, presumably annoyed we hadnt inserted a tip on the machine. Btw any groups of 6 or more, 10% is auto added to the bill. A real shame as we were so looking forward to eating there.

“Go elsewhere”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

At the time of this review there were over 200 worse restaurants in Bath. That can't possibility be true. The food was dreadful - steak ordered rare and came well done - a watery prawn linguine sent back and replaced with a tasteless spaghetti carbonara. It was so bad that we didn't bother to complain. Paid and left and will never go back. The restaurant was pretty good when first opened but has now reached rock bottom.

“bland ”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

one if the meals was so bland we couldn't taste anything the other was salty. both pasta. in fairness the management agreed and didnt charge and offered free deserts, which was ok, however given the number of great restaurants in bath i strongly suggest you try elsewhere. its not even great value.

“Impromptu meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

Excellent food, service a tad slow but they were busy.
We shared a meat platter and olives between three to start, next time I'd stick with just the olives but one each, they are delicious.
