“would definitely stay heare again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2010

Great location. Owner welcomed us to ensure we had everything we needed and was keen to dispense advice on where places to eat/see etc in Bath. Apartment tastefully and simply decorated and supplied with everything one could possibly need for a weekend stay. Sure beats staying in a hotel and I would recommend Bath Star without hesitation. The Old Farm Inn over the road has a great atmosphere, live music and decent cider on tap (what more could a girl want?!). Not nearly as pleasant was the late night take-away we got from the Indian restaurant over the road; there are so many great places to eat in Bath - this certainly wasn't one of them!

So glad we decided on this lovely place after reading the reviews on here.

Nice welcome from owner who briefly showed us round.

Welcome basket on arrival with fruit, chocolates and mini bottle of wine... nice touch. Along with full kitchen stocked with fresh coffee and other condiments you may need (ketchup, olive oil, balsamic vinegar etc) all at no extra charge.

The apartment was well laid out, clean and tidy. It had a nice cosy feel to it and we could have easly stayed there a week or two.

Location was also very good 10minutes walk into town centre, but a slight hill on way back.

For £5/day you can use a parking permit supplied by the owners, which is cheap for Bath. And we had a space right opposite.

For the money you just won't beat this place, a hotel suite of same standard would end up costing you 3 or 4 times as much!

Can't wait to tell all our friends and family to come here...

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a weekend break in Bath. Having read the reviews on Trip Advisor, we had high expectations. I'm pleased to say we weren't disappointed. The apartment itself is very nice. Small, but with everything you need (kitchen, dining table, comfy sofa, nice bedroom, reasonable bathroom). The location is great, as you can walk into town in ten minutes or so (although the walk back up the hill is challenging if you are not fit!). Our only criticism would be the noise from the floor above, as we were woken up by footsteps and creaking floorboards. That said, we felt that it was excellent value for money and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this appartments for two nights in early September.
The appartment is located in the basement of a typical Bath town house. Parking is outside on the road and is free beween 1800 and 0800 and by meter at any other time. You can also borrow a parking permit for £5-00 a day this allows you to park anywhere in Bath where the C Central sign is displayed, this is cheap when you consider parking in Bath is expensive.
The appartment consisted of a lounge area with small dining table, TV, HiFi and DVD player . Free WiFi was also available. The kitchen area was modern and clean as was the the Bathroom and toilet area. The bedroom was quite large with a comfortable double bed, Through the french doors in the bedroom was as small outside seating area with a table and chairs ideal for a cuppa after a days sightseeing.
The whole appartment was beutifully presented, clean and modern.
The location of the appartment was probably it's strongest point, being only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bath with all of it's tourist attractions

A convenient walk into the centre of Bath this is an ideal place to stay. It is an uphill walk on the way back from the centre but there is a bus stop very close by. The apartment is spotless with modern kitchen and bath. Alexandra couldn't have been more helpful... when the washing m/c failed to work she took our washing and put it through her own m/c and dried everything on her line for us. We will certainly stay here on any future visits to Bath. The parking permit at £5.00 per day was a godsend.

Wonderful place. For probably the first time ever I'm questionning if I should leave a review of this place. It wouldn't be fair if I chose not to. Don't all book it up though as I want it for whenever we go! I need to get organised and book ahead.

This is the lower floor (basement wouldn't do it justice) of a 3 story city house. It gets good light and has windows back and front. The living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are all finished to a very high standard. The owners live upstairs and are great. So much more relaxing to have your own space. The gorgeous city of Bath is only 5 mins walk. Faultless

Lovely one bedroom basement flat with small patio area within 5mins walk of all of Baths attractions.

Far superior to a hotel stay, very comfortable and highly recommended. Gift basket on arrival of fresh fruit, chocolates, crisps and a mini bottle of wine was very well received.
