“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013 via mobile

We came to bath for the weekend, and found you on this website. We were drawn in by the excellent reviews, for which you thoroughly deserve!! We had steak and I had seafood, both of which were superb, really fresh and authentic. Best French meal I've had outside of France. We definitely recommend to anyone seeking something a bit different and original, with a cosy, romantic feel. Merci!

“Wonderful date spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

My date recommended this restaurant - I'd never been before.

It was a romantic setting - dim lighting, homey decor, very welcoming. We each got an appetizer and entree, and then shared the cheese plate for dessert. Classic French cuisine, quality ingredients, and nothing too fussy..

“Still the Finest Restaurant in Bath”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

I adore this restaurant! TIP if there are 4 of you in your group request the ground floor, round table by the window-it's perfect for people watching and also you don't feel on top of your neighbours

“Excellent- 100% recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

A belated review but a very positive one nonetheless. We booked for my wife's birthday (5 of us) and sat upstairs. Wonderful attention to detail, nothing too much trouble to the staff without being over attentive. The food was obviously the highlight and all the dishes were received rapturously...we really couldn't find anything to stop this being a ''100% perfect'' review. We are looking forward to returning again soon.

“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013 via mobile

Went here for lunch and we had the set menu, which was very good value (£50 for two with wine). Friendly service, attentive but not too much so. Bread was delicious, I had asparagus and pea soup which was very fresh, followed by confit of duck with lentils and Dauphinoise potatoes and root veg. My wife had goat cheese and pear filo parcels followed by wild mushroom omelette with chips - which were Jenga stacked, and she didn't offer to share, which has to be a good sign. We shared a rather runny lemon tart. I can't fault the food, which suited the general bistro style. The lavender on the table was a nice touch.
