“Was it worth the visit ?”

Arrived to the new La Tasca location, which was great ! Ordered Tapas to share, the waitress didn't speak English well but we got there after confusion over the taste card and what was on offer.
I love Spanish food but my god this was the one of the worse meals I've had since moving to Bath ! Ordered Spicy Roasted Veg. (not roasted)...Patatas Bravas(not fresh reheated potatoes)
Romesco Chicken(worst of all, two chicken thighs with skin on, and partially covered with a sauce that looked like it had come out of a jar) Chicken was obviously not cooked in sauce. Deep fried prawns ...four of then , and the only nice part of the meal ! When asked if we enjoyed the meal we both said no and she smiled and walked away...so was nice that she was so interested in feed back! I for one will never go back to this restaurant. I rarely give bad reviews but this made me angry we had to pay for the meal, even though we got it 50% off was too much. In this day and age with so much competition LaTasca will not be around long I'm sure !!!!

“We ❤ La Tasca”

Had wonderful food when we visited and booked to come again for our birthdays. Food was scrummy, particularly the prawns, paella - everything really. Good wine too

“Birthday Meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

Nice venue with lots of interesting paintings and wall hangings. The food is good and with plenty of choice. Staff are more than happy to help with your selections and will bring more as and when you ask. Nice relaxed atmosphere and welcomes children

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

I'm afraid this was not good. The Paella was really lacking in any taste or flavour. The tapas was not that appealing either. Not that pricey but still no excuse!
