“Not very good really”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012 via mobile

To be perfectly honest it should not be called the Darwin walk. The only place that even merely relates to him is his birth place at the house on the Mount part if Shrewsbury. He was only born in Shrewsbury and actually never did anything for the town or contributed to it. No t worth going in an I don't recommend it to anyone. You get more info reading a book on Darwin than this walk...

“Good way to see Shrewsbury”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2012

The walk can be gained either from the web or the tourist information centre. There is parking just outside the tourist information centre as well as other car parks too. The walk helps bring to life Darwins life and achievements. The walk takes around 2 hours to complete and is not overly arduous. It takes in several key points in Darwins life , the corresponding leaflet plus local signage describes the relevance of each site. You are never that far from cover (thinking of rain ) except in the quarry, even there , there is a reasonably handy cafe located in the swimming pool centre.
