Stopped in here for the first time at the end of March for lunch, and very glad we did. super busy little place - and once we had our food we could see why. Simply delicious. We initially had to wait about 20 mins for a table to be free, but we didn't mind because we could already tell we were going to be in for a treat by glancing at the menus we were given while waiting - a great little idea as it then speeds up your ordering choice once seated and ticks the minutes away quicker, simple idea but a good one. We opted for pulled pork sandwich and warm duck salad with 2 of the home made lemonades. both simply delicious. That would normally do us for lunch, but given it was so nice we opted for a couple of puddings - again absolutely yummy, only tiny criticism is that they were a bit on the small side for the price, but other wise superb - we will once again walk across town just to go here for lunch! - ** As a final compliment ** - despite the ludicrously busy lunch service, the staff were excellent, attentive, friendly, and full of smiles and never pushy or rushing you, which I think deserves massive praise. I have too often been in establishments where the busyness levels were no-where near this and your almost pushed out the door with your coat shoved under your arm because they want the table freed up - So a specific mention to the excellent staff is a must for me.
