Stayed in Room no 3 during the January snow.

Nice and clean, with a large bathroom. Very handy for the town, and a lovely home cooked breakfast. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Charming and highly recommended.

Wanted a B&B close to the town and found this little gem. Excellent location, off street parking, very comfortable room immaculately clean and lovely and warm.. Thanks to Rosemarie for making us feel so welcome and for the wonderful breakfast. Only stayed one night but hope to be back soon.

We have stayed in Ludlow a few times before and decided to give 130 Corve Street a try based on the reviews posted here. We certainly weren't dissapointed. We had room No. 3 and it was excellent. Spotlessly clean, private parking, lovely hosts with lots of info to impart on the area and a superb cooked breakfast the next morning. All of Ludlow's attractions are within easy walking distance. We arrived around midday on the Sunday and both our room and parking space were available. The room is just the right size, well equipped, meticulously prepared and with a lovely bathroom. Loads of hot water, great water pressure for the shower, complimentary toiletries and a well stocked host tray - tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. and all at just £69. The owner is lovely - she makes you feel very welcome, takes time to have a chat and is very knowledgeable about what the area has to offer in terms of pubs, restaurants, shops, etc. We had booked lunch at the Unicorn Inn which is close by. This is a lovely old pub with a roaring log fire and great real ales. I must say we were a little disappointed with lunch. We both had the pork which was very fatty. The roast potatoes were good but the vegetables were probably enough for one diner and alhough we like ours al dente, these were boardering on raw. The service was good and we didn't complain but it's a shame as this is such a lovely old inn with so much potential. Maybe we chose an off day. Given the meagre portions, we trooped off to the Golden Moments later in the evening and as we have come to expect, the food was excellent. We shall definitely return to Ludlow and when we do, will make sure we book 130 Corve Street once again.

Room Tip: If you want a bath ask for no. 3 as I believe the other two have shower only

From the friendly welcome on our arrival, comfortable bed, superb shower, delicious freshly cooked breakfast and exceptional cleanliness throughout, I thoroughly recommend this B&B. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and furnished and has its own entrance off a small private courtyard - with outside seating in warmer weather. Well situated for the Town Centre and The Ludlow Brewery, the latter being only a 5 minute stroll and which was the reason for our visit to attend a birthday celebration. Despite being in a central location the rooms are situated away from the main street and we enjoyed total peace and quiet throughout our two night stay. There is free private parking for guests alongside the property - a bonus in Ludlow! My only critisism (and it's small!) is the location of the mirror in our bedroom - I had to move a chair to use it and I would have preferred a full-length mirror, especially as we were dressing to go to a party!! But I appreciate that 130 is a conversion in an historic building and the room layout is therefore restricted within original architectural features.

Room Tip: All three rooms offer equal facilities. Room 1 has access from lobby to upstairs breakfast room with...

This is a b&b but the rooms have individual entrances from outside the main house in a private courtyard ie it is not an integral part of of the owners house. Perfect for privacy and peace and quiet. Newish but compact and no view as such but 2 armchairs, good shower, very clean etc. to be hyper critical the mattress was a tad firm for my preference. Straightforward and excellent cooked breakfast. Very convenient for the centre of Ludlow.
