This restaurant is not in the nicest part of Sheffield (Walkey) and does not have the nicest decor - hence a very good not an excellent. In spite of that, it was packed all the time we were there.
The service was great - we were not rushed, but service was prompt when we needed it. The maitre d' was friendly and clearly proud of his restaurant. The menu is huge, and there were several seafood specials. The food is very good, three of us had a risotto which was cooked perfectly - a rare find. The wild boar ordered by the other diner was also tasty. We didn't have room for desserts but had lovely coffees and ordered limoncello - which came "on the house" and was a good example of its kind!. Main courses vary in price up to £20+ but pizzas are in the £9 region - and looked very good!
We would go here again for decent Italian food.
