Stayed here a few months ago when i attended an afternoon wedding, pre booked a room a week prior to the wedding which cost me £100 pounds which i thought was a bit steep, but hey ho it looks a nice place so go with it.....upon arrival we were greeted by polish lady with an extremly unhelpful and bad attitude, whom tried to charge us twice and was adament we hadn't paid when booking the room online (which we had) after arguing the toss and refusing to pay again, the manageress came out from the back and instantly resolved the issue confirming that we had paid and all was okay, after checking in and retiring to our room to get ready, we opened the apartment door and was greeted with about 40 degrees of heat, we instaly went for the thermostat only the find there was no such thing, and no air con either it was sweltering. we opened all the windows we could which didnt really help much as they were retricted with a little chain and only opened a couple of inches. called the hotel lobby and asked if the heaters or radiators could be reduced in our room to which they said they couldnt something to do with the fact its centrally controlled or something and it would affect the oveall temps of other rooms so we had to make do.....on a more positive note the hotel is nice and clean, and the grounds are stunning with the little fishing lake etc... overall place is okay, but the friendly/ helpfullness of staff and the dated rooms withour air con let it down. :(
