We went on a Monday night at about 9pm or so. We thought the food was below par given the prices and the reputation.
The starters were filo-pastry wrapped prawns with some dips (all of which were seemed to be straight from a catering suppliers), and piccante mushrooms, which although tasted OK, were swimming in a substantial pool of melted butter.
The Papa Pizza was a lot smaller than expected, barely 12", and the toppings were obscured by a huge, thick mat of Chedder cheese. The Pancake Romana did not seem to comprise of any pancake. It was just a textureless tomato and meat sauce, bubbling in massive quantities of oil and cheese, and unfortunately far from appetising.
It's a shame as this restaurant is in a great location and the service was absolutely fine. Maybe they make more of an effort with the food at the weekends.
