“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

We reserved a table for our first ever visit and we was seated straight away; as we hadn't been before the waiter took the time to explain the menu system and what you normally do etc and he was very helpful; we felt very welcome and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing.

The food was superb, really fresh and hot, the service was really good and friendly. It is a little bit more money than usual restaurants but you get what you pay for, really tasty food with good service. We will definitely go again next time we are in Meadowhall.

“Gets you in the holiday mood!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013 via mobile

Been to La Tasca a few times and have always had a good experience.
On our latest visit, the restaurant was quite full. We were seated immediately and asked if we wanted to order drinks. Shortly afterwards we ordered our food. When it came, it was served fresh and hot. The starter, Espanola sharer was lovely. Every tapas dish we had was good although the paella tasted like it was a ready made microwave meal.
The service was reasonable, it did seem understaffed, we never had same person.
I used my La Tasca card for the first time and received 20% off tapas meals.
The only negative is the price of drinks. £4.15 for a beer!!!!

“Lovely visit and excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

My husband having a large appetite has always been reluctant to eat Tapas (small dishes).
I managed to talk him into it after a recent visit to one in the South with work.
We had Olives and Manchego to start.
For main to share we had Meatballs, Tortilla, Paella of the day, Chicken Croquettes, Mushrooms and Prawns in San Miguel Batter, with a small salted caramel pot for dessert. Service was very fast and attentive.
The food was lovely. Especially recommended was the Prawns and the Paella.
Service was good, soft drinks a little steep at almost £2.50 for a 330ml but apart from that decent value for money

“Lunch time meal deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

Popped in today and had the set meal which was only £9.95 , the starters were limited to salad or bread and oil , but the main was a choice of 3 from a good selection of tapas. The food was very nice and there was plenty if your Hungary . We have eaten there before but thought this was a very good deal
