Excellent meal after my sons graduation .We visited midweek early afternoon ,the place was empty but later more people arrived .We enjoyed the steak ,gammon ,lamb shank .My daughter is lactose intolerant ,so her safe bet was the 'Sauteed Portobello Mushroom -
With garlic & herbs. Served on toasted brioche' and 'Aberdeen Angus Burger -
Aberdeen Angus steak mince served with chips, onion rings and our honey
bourbon ketchup '..only to find the mushrooms were far too creamy and large slice of cheese was included in the burger... although it didn't state this on the menu . Sadly this made her very uncomfortable , even though she removed the cheese ! So for this reason I marked the experience down .
