The night we went it was very busy, and had a really nice atmosphere. There was a mix of people drinking at the bar, famillies finishing from the tea time session, small groups of people and couples. The starters were really good (soft shell crab, and thai fish cakes) and well presented.Mains also were good (steak with onion marmalade and cheese, brisket with mash), but the brisket was a little bit different to expected (i.e...not how its done at home...more American style) Deserts looked home cooked and yummy, but we were too full! The only downside was the service, which although was good and friendly was slow....I think the night was busier than anticipated, so it was short staffed. It didnt feel chaotic or panic-y though, and probably encouraged us to drink more wine! A really nice place.
