We went to the shoulder on Sunday 28th , we haven't been for a long time but as the other popular pubs in the area were fully booked we gave it a try
The pub itself seemed to have gone down hill from our last visit , especially the toilets !
The starters were ok , 4 people had Sunday dinners which they said was ok , I had haddock , I'm surprised a chef would send a meal out looking as it did , so wasn't surprised how it tasted , there were two very small pieces of fish the first I ate which I shouldn't have , it was awful , the second piece was so overlooked I had difficulty cutting into it , the chips were just a soggy affair , at which point I decided to leave it , no one cane to ask how our meal was . When we complained when they cleared our plates they said the chef would be informed , no apology no offer of a refund !
