Stayed for 3 nights, went for a mini-holiday to discover Peak District. The city itself was very boring, we didn't do much sightseeing tour in town. The hotel was clean, new-looking, our room was a spacious and clean corner room with large windows. Shower was huge. So many Holiday Inns and Express hotels all around the world were rather disappointing but this property surprised us. The staff is polite and attentive. I made some research for hiking and walking places in the Peak and we would have gone there but luckily we met Jackie at the reception, who helped us to plan our days with her excellent insider tips and ideas. It turned out that her local knowledge saved us from several disappointment. The places she recommended, were amazing and remarkable, with her care and attentiveness overall during our stay she really made our trip unforgettable.
The dinner at the bar was great and we got a lot of attention and good customer service from Amira as well. There were two computers with printer for guests in the lobby to use internet complimentary, that was great. We would definitely return, thank you and keep it up.
