I've not been to a lot of places in Sheffield as there has not been enough time to truly discover all Sheffield has to offer, however when my boyfriend brought me here I couldn't help but feel excited because all I had seen in Sheffield were trams and drunk people.
There are huge fountains, however it was very cold so I stayed away from them. There was a lot of amazing angles to take photographs, and I couldn't help but wish I could film my university project here.
It was arguably one of the best parts of the day, and I'd definitely come here again, hopefully for longer if the weather will allow it.

Dirty and full in the summer so it makes you feel very on edge.
Be very wary with small children and don't let them play alone in the fountains.

Go to a swimming baths or water park.

lovely place to sit and relax in a busy city centre. I often go there with my daughter and grandchildren as they live in Sheffield. We can picnic and the children enjoy taking their swimsuits on a hot day so they can jump in and out of the fountains. They have now got a big screen too so the children watch cartoons and films. A really pleasant visit and costs nothing. As an added bonus there is the museum nearby and plenty of cafes and the shops of course! Will no doubt be there again this year.

The peace gardens is like an oasis within a busy city. I really liked this place. It was a joy to see families enjoy it also.

The Sheffield Peace garden is located close the city center with seats neatly arrange and fanciful fountains. The place is ideal for couples and families with children as there are enough play area. There are also beautiful arranged array of flowers that gives the environment a serene romantic atmosphere.
