“Good food - very reasonable prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

We visited the cable ski whilst passing through the park
The two of us ate a very nice lunch whilst watching the water skiers - and spent less than a tenner even including hot drinks
Will definitely call again when cycling past

“Brilliant Day Out - Even For A Novice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

I was brought here as a surprise for my birthday in September 2012 and it was fantastic!

I was a bit apprehensive at first, having NEVER done any kind of water sport before.

The staff were helpful and friendly and made me feel at ease.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cost as well - £19 for an hour and a half (we went on a weekday, you only get 1 hour on a weekend) You really don't need longer than that anyway as your arms really ache after about an hour!

I can't wait til the weather gets a bit better and we can go back!

Didn't go on it, time there was limited, but really enjoyed watching from the lakeside bar

“Forget the gym this is real exercise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2012 via mobile

I first tried waterskiing in 2007, progressing to wakeboarding once I had mastered the corners. I cannot recommend this place enough, and have been going wakeboarding ever since!
The sport is great for all ages, and many teenagers who start wakeboarding quickly progress to entering the Ten Feet High wakeboard competitions at the cable, which are designed to encourage development in the sport. Many of these young athletes have been sponsored, and many are also part of the British team...all thanks to Sheffield cable waterski.
With wakeboarding hotly tipped to become an Olympic sport, nows the time to give it a try.
Off the water the bar is excellent, as is the cafe. You can buy all the equipment you need at great prices in the on site shop, but all the stuff you need to get started is available to hire, which makes the sport very accessible and affordable.
Highly recommended!
