The Rutland is trying hard to be a boutique style hotel with dark contemporary decor and wet rooms
in the bedrooms andoin their web page the images look great, but in reality the rooms are small and dark! There doesn't appear to be a lift so you could end up carrying you suitcase up two flights of stairs. Breakfast is good and the restaurant staff attentive. During the stay there were issues with the hot water and a fire alarm at 3am which also took the gloss off our stay. Unlikely to stay here when I return to Sheffield
