This is a cosy counrty style pub/restauarant and in a lovely location. The dining room was just what we expected, and we had an early booking, at 6.30pm, as this is what was available, but with hindsight perhaps a mistake.
The initial greeting was lukewarm, but the waitress service very good, in fact too good at times. The food came very quickly and at times I felt slightly rushed, which is never a good feel, when you want to chat with friends in an unhurried fashion.
The food was excellent, but the portions a little on the small size.
Whilst thoroughly enjoyable, I did feel it was quite expensive overall.
