Called in for a drink on August bank holiday, Monday early evening. Located in a good spot right next to the Kennet & Avon canal. Looked like the place had had a very busy day. Only one of the advertised six real ales was available. No change left for the till. Staff looking a little tired - half were still with it, other half needed a new vocation. Identified it as a Brunning and Price establishment as soon as we walked through the front door. With this in mind we suspect that the food could be OK when they are less busy, but we chose not to eat on this occasion. There are two other pubs in Woolhampton but we did not try these D&S 26/8
