“The best Thai in Reading!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

You're sure of a great evening at The Warwick. The decor, restaurant layout and atmosphere are perfect and there is a well stocked bar for pre-dinner drinks - with a choice of real ales on offer which is unusual in a Thai restaurant. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The menu is fairly extensive and reasonably priced - and the food is superbly cooked and presented, in excellent portions. A fairly comprehensive wine list caters for all tastes. Definately one of the best dining experiences in the Reading area.

“Nice prices and ambiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

I like the prices and the quality of the food. You can get a fair meal (soup + meal) for 10£ if you're looking for midd-day deals. The staff is friendly, some of them are from actual Thailand. It's a pity they don't offer massage services:)

“I just can't fault this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

The food, decor, service and prices in this place are amazing! We went with a large group of people and experienced nothing but impeccable service and tasty food, served beautifully as all genuine Thai food should be. Definitely worth a visit.

“You're missing out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

Discovered this place in the back end of Reading town centre after a friend suggested it.

Having been to a few overpriced and boring Thai restaurants in the past, we were a bit edgy about it, but no need, the food is great.

The menu is full of choice without falling into the Chinese restaurant trap of being too extensive to be of real quality. The set meals - often the last resort of inexperienced diners - are good value and high quality.

The service is friendly and polite, and there are usually offers running like two-for one, free bottle of wine, etc.

We have been for Sunday lunch three or four times, but I noticed last week that they re closing on Sundays now because of lack of custom. A shame that people are missing out on a treat.
Maybe car parking is a problem? You have to use the street outside, which is expensive, or park elsewhere and walk.

Nevertheless, I highly recommend a visit. The decor is quirky, and the chairs can be a bit rickety, but that just ads to the charm

Come on Reading, you're missing out! Support your local Thai pub and keep the range of good food as wide as possible! Do you really prefer the £6.99 all- you-can- eat alternative?

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012 via mobile

What looks like a pub on the outside, The Wawrick is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in the area. Good menu, friendly staff and decent prices. Check out their Tuesday deal - curry with rice and crackers for £5.
