We had quite a nice twin room on the top floor with an attic window. Looks like the room was refurbed about 10 years ago but some parts show more wear than others. Guesthouse is located a 8 minute walk straight down the main road from the head of the river - literally and the fantastic pub with outdoor seating and great meals. Our room was quaint enough for the budget price. The breakfast in the basement area was OK but if the host and staff could smile a little more it would be better. I realise its not the Ritz but if the staff were a little friendlier there wouldn't be much to complain about. Parking out the back is a huge bonus so close to town. The laundromat a few doors down is also great. If you're only in Oxford for a short time, the guesthouse is acceptable. If your visiting family or your studying and staying a bit longer, look somewhere else.
