“Not the Pitts...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

This was a real surprise and a pleasant one at that.... popped in and could have stayed for a good three hours..... an eclectic mix of things to see from Samurai spears to skeletons. All packed in like museums used to be. You can get close up. But the best thing for me was seeing all the kids getting excited and getting involved. Will return one day.

“What an amazing place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2014

Saw several reviews which recommended going. Top advice. What an incredible place. Feels packed to the rafters with treasures. Found myself just gob smacked at all the weird and wonderful displays. Made me smile as I was going around

Would definitely go back if I am in oxford again. You have to go see.

“Filled to the brim”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

Although not a huge museum, it's impossible to see everything. From ancient weapons to modern writing tools, there is something for everyone here. The lighting is a bit dim, especially after coming from the Natural History Museum, but that adds to the atmosphere.

“Brilliant secret little find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

Weird and wonderful, yet quiet and magical. Could spend all day here and never get to see the city. A wonderful journey and full of great finds. If I had to spend my life in a single building then this could well be the one.
