Went to this restaurant start of Feb and was our first time here. The layout of the restaurant was lovely and the staff were very friendly. The food was really nice and at a good price. Would def come back !

“Really enjoyable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

we went there as a party of 4 on a Groupon voucher. the staff were attentive and the drinks not too expensive. There was an enormous variety at the buffet and we all seriously broadened our knowledge and our taste of a variety of dishes that we had not tried before. WE particularly liked some of the vegetarian options. then - the big surprise - delicious mango icecream after the main meal, which was totally unexpected.
this restaurant would be a good place to try even without a voucher ... and there is lots of handy parking close by.

“Disappointing!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

We travel 60 miles to get to Delhi, and have been going there regularly for over two years, normally we loved the food, but yesterday was a disappointment. there is a new menu and the portions seem to be less generous and the price appears to have gone up. Not sure if we would hurry back. Bring back the old menu please!

“Great Group Gathering”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Came here for the lunch buffet with a party of 18 using Groupon deals( 5 GBP pp). Food was excellent, with an assortment of starters, briyani rice and many varieties of curries, some for vegetarians too!
The staff were really nice and courteous, keeping our pitchers filled and bringing out baskets of naans for our table. The only complaint would be the seating. They prepared a long table for 18, so the people seated on the inner middle side(against the wall) had some difficulty getting their food. Otherwise a very enjoyable experience. Will definitely come here again to satisfy future Indian food cravings

“Fantastic - a place to try new things”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Have been twice in two months because we loved it so much. Oxford is one of those towns where you need a reservation on the weekends, so I recommend booking. We couldn't get in one Friday until 9pm! But we found the staff to be very kind and helpful.

Recommend the Traditional Vegetarian Thali starter (we are not vegetarians, but it is so delicious). It is beautifully presented; the strawberries were a surprise but an amazing taste with the aloo tikki.

The Lamb Saag wala is tender and flavourful, as are the Tawa dishes. Be adventurous here - try their specialties and don't just stick the standard and boring Chicken Tikka Masala!

The beer is excellent value for money too.
