My husband and i wanted a short weekend away to Henley. Decided on this hotel and were not disappointed!

There are only 5 rooms and all amazing and comfortable. On arrival we had champagne brought to us that we had pre requested. Sat in the lounge with doors open onto small garden wth lots of lavender, smells lovely.We felt so relaxed!

The beds are very comfortable with amazing white crisp cotton linen to die for!

There is no restaurant but the owners are there for your every need and will make sandwiches if you need. You can buy alcohol on the premises and they do a fantastic breakfast in the morning which is a must!

All in all if you are looking for a great relaxing weekend away with a short 2 minute walk into Henely this place is perfect!

Went to Henley for a wedding recently and stayed in the Thamesmead House Hotel. The price was not cheap for a double room, but everything about the hotel was pretty much perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is ideal for the centre of Henley - located just over the other side of the river next to the bridge - and the room was well decorated and very light with a big window overlooking the front of the hotel. The bed was comfy with white cotton sheets and big plump pillows, and the bathroom was also up to standard. Also, the breakfast was delicious (even when consumed with a hangover) and included cereals, toast, juice and a full English.
Highly recommended.
