We rarely eat a Cream Tea, but saw some people devouring one at this Restaurant in Burfod and decided it was such a long time since we had eaten one, that we should indulge ourselves for once. Neither of us drink Caffinated drinks, for health reasons so we asked if they had Decaffinated Tea and they said Yes. Sure enough it was listed on the Menu, which had not looked at. So, we ordered one cream tea with an extra tea.
The staff had put 3 tea bags in the pot which made for a good strong cup of tea. The scone was still warm and once the Jam and Cream had been put on it all just melted in our mouths. We wished we had ordered one each, but being careful with what we eat we made do with half each. The staff were really pleasant and helpful as well, so next time we are in the area, guess where we will be heading in the afternoon. Can't wait.
