“Beautiful lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

Superb 3 course lunch at a very reasonable price, everything from service by all staff to the food and ambience absolutely faultless. Will be visiting again soon to try rest of menu.

“Fantastic food and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

This is the second time I've visited and both times the food was amazing and the service was quick and attentive. We went for the early bird menu which is two courses for £14 before 6:45. Steak was perfectly cooked with more than enough chips and the beef bourguignon came with lots of freshly cooked vegetables. One of my favourite restaurant in Nottingham by far.

“Outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

What a fabulous experience and to think John and Rob (owners) ask me for my opinion about them becoming restaurateurs many years ago and I said " don't go there "
A big well done to them for years of excellence and success.

“Lovely Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014 via mobile

Went here with work and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Only disappointment was the waiting time for food to be served but we were a group of 9 and all ordered together. The restaurant has also had a refurb since my last trip, and has been tastefully done. Really enjoy this place!

“Lovely food and plenty of it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014

Went here for lunch on a Monday morning. It was very busy but we were given a table straight away. Service was good, the waiter was friendly and efficient. Had a bit of a wait for the dessert but we weren't in any hurry. The food was very good. My mushroom soup was full of flavour, one of the best I'd ever had. Overall, a good meal in comfortable surroundings.
