“Grate Venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We have been to this venue several times as it is in a great location in the heart of the city. The stage area is large enough that wherever you sit you will enjoy. However if you sit around Block 10 you will be the furthest away from the stage. Try around Block 16 to be reasonably close. The numbers fan round the stage so the middle numbers are furthest away if you are in tiered seating.

“Best medium sized Arena by far”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Nottingham Arena has great acoustics and a size that means everyone can see the acts on stage clearly. More bands seem to be includng it in their tour schedule and I hope that continues. Just saw Mumford & Sons and will be there in Feb, March and April to see Aussie Floyd, We will Rock you and Meatloaf. Looking forward .

“Really enjoyed it!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Me and my partner went for an evening session back in November, it was a nice big ice rink therefore even though it was busy it didn't feel overwhelming. The staff around were friendly and made you feel very at home. However, the only negative is that there is no parking availible at the actual ice centre therefore you have to have quite a walk to the centre itself, which isn't the nicest on a bitter cold night like for us. Overall, worth going to however.

went during the afternoon public session, found it to be busy but not too busy, could be signposted a little better nearer train station as that is the way we went to come and use the ice centre. Average costs for people but i paid cheaper being a home educator, they do good rates for that which included skate hire. Your not allowed to take photos of your children there even if you can seperate them from having anyone else in the picture and they are close to you, also when session has finished staff are quite foreceful of making sure you are off the ice pronto due to it needing lubricating for the next session in a very short time, what happened t it takes a while to gather kids up and get out the booth

“Capital Arena - no fuss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Excellent venue - jumped on the tram and for £1.90 was there in a flash, no parking worries and then back out and on the tram again. The arena was well laid out, clean and with really friendly staff.
