Loved this museum! Bought a joint ticket for the castle too for around £5 each. A series of rooms / mock-ups of family homes and shops from times gone-by. Wonderful remembering all the shop items and toys. We especially enjoyed the large dolls house which a lady's godmother had spent 7 years making for her. Also enjoyed experiencing the air-raid shelter with the sirens and bombs (you have to ask for the sound effects to be switched on). Man-made underground caves for storing beer etc. Very helpful pleasant staff. The tiny pub Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is right next door for a drink or bite to eat.
