I visited from the US a couple years ago. I have played GW games and painted their models for about a decade.
The display area is fantastic. Lise does such an amazing job managing the it, as a museum professional I was really impressed at what they were able to do with that space and the subject matter. It was a very good use of floorplan, for one thing. For another, from a technical standpoint, there are right and wrong ways for museums to display models in order for visitors to get the most out of them and these were displayed the right way.
The gaming tables and big statues looked neat. The pub food was good, the service was slow though. Our camera battery died, which inadvertently made Nottingham the low-point of our trip, as we were running around, all stressed out trying to get a new camera memory card. However, the manager of the Warhammer World display area actually offered to take pictures for me and email them so I'd have them when I got home! I didn't take them up on the offer, but that is absolute top rate customer service.
