Description: Turtle Bay is all about capturing the heart & soul of The Caribbean. Caribbean cooking is a patchwork quilt of colours, textures, and flavours; a multi-ethnic tapestry woven from the cuisines of Europe, Africa, and Asia. Mouth-watering hot sauces, spice rubs, fragrant marinades and cool chutneys feature in our food, to fresh hand tossed salads, spice wood jerk grills and exotically spiced one pots, perfect for sharing with friends in true Caribbean Limin’ style.

“Yummmmy!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

The menu is amazing! Lots and lots of lovely food to choose from. I went for the Mo'Bay chicken which was lovely and even writing this review on it is making my mouth water. The cocktails are really lush - although they have over done it with rum in every cocktail! Only little upset was the waiter didn't bring back our change, it was only just over a £1 but he shouldn't have assumed that we didn't want our change. We had planned to tip him £5 but didn't bother! I would definitely return and would recommend.

“Excellent Jerk chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

Had lunch in this "West Indian" restaurant in the Corner House in city center Nottingham, really good jerk food and side orders of plantains and sweet potato chips were excellent. Would be good to take friends, family or business .associates. Service was excellent, a must do if you are in town.

“Faultless”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

I visited Turtle Bay with my girlfriend for lunch on a Sunday afternoon,

We picked from the 'lunch and light' menu. The waitress was more than willing to help a couple of Caribbean food novices like ourselves.

I can't find any negatives for this place; it was just the job for our purpose of lunch in between shopping.

The food was very tasty and the drinks (mocktails) were great.

I liked the fit-out of the place and it made for a relaxing atmosphere.

The staff were friendly and efficient.

I would certainly visit again.

“Caribbean in Cool Nottingham”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the 2 4 1 cocktails while we chose our food and waited to eat. The service was efficient and the food arrived....we enjoyed the whole jerked chicken and whole fish, but found the bill rather expensive. There were 5 adults and 3 children in our party and there was not much for the kids to eat as there was no bespoke children's menu. We ordered some side dishes which pushed our bill up, especially as they were mostly chips and fried dumplings. We were also surprised to have to pay £5 a person to reserve a table. I have never been asked to do this, even when we booked at the number 1 restaurant in the world!
